I got tired of the squirrels make a mess of bird seed everywhere. At first, I was hesitant because of the price but I am so glad I pulled the trigger. This is worth the money for the entertainment value alone. No squirrels were harmed in the making of this video lol

It's new. It worked. It was hilarious watching this squirrel fly off the feeder. We will see if his friends are as foolish as he was!

There are no easy parts for squirrels to chew on. We put it out and had birds find it within just a few hours. As you can see from the photo, we don't have an elaborate set up for it - ours is hanging from a wrought iron hook attached to a tree. The feeder sits about 20" or so from the tree trunk. There was one squirrel who reached over and touched the flipper, and immediately ran away when it moved. Since then, our squirrels have just given up! I found out this morning my battery was dead (SO easy to recharge!). If I hadn't taken the feeder down to fill it, I would not have known it even needed to be charged, because the squirrels don't even try!!! So far, we have birds waiting in line for a perch on our Yankee Flipper, and we have 7 or 8 other feeders, but this one is the hands-down FAVORITE for the birds!

Actually a very effective feeder in keeping the squirrels off but our resident buck has figured out how to get seed out without activating the spinner..moved the feeder off of shepherds hook & up onto a sturdy limb higher up in a nearby tree & problem solved. Very happy with this feeder, A+ for all aspects.
